But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:6-7) NKJV
Why is giving an act of worship? When we worship God, it is a spiritual state of exalting the One to whom we have complete trust and adoration. It is difficult to trust in someone when we have some doubt or worry in our hearts. It has been well said that when we worship God, we must worship with reckless abandon. That is an emphatic way of saying there is no reservation in our worship of Him.

To be saved you must turn away from sin, believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus, and receive Him as Lord and Savior of your life.
Here is the step-by-step process. First, you must consider your life and then turn away from everything in it that is contrary to what God wants. This turning away from selfishness and toward God is called repentance (Matt. 3:7-10; Acts 3:19).

All flesh is grass, and the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever. (1 Peter 1:24-25)
I have preached for many years that the bible is the inerrant Word of God. It is what governs the life of the child of God. We do not customize it to fit our lifestyles. It can't be erased, so that we could go on with our lives as we please. It is the blueprint of life. If you want to live, you must know the Word; you must know the Logos. It intrigues me how people are always trying to change God, improve God, counsel God, when we are the ones who need to be changed and counseled. He doesn't need any help. He is perfect the way He is. Jesus is Wonderful Counselor! And the Word of God is our sole authority.
